Ensnared by the Clock
Wow, two weeks have disappeared without a blog. Sorry about that. Here’s what’s been taking up my time.
I had been working feverishly to finish my submissions for the Virginia Writers Golden Nib competition. Also, our local chapter had a multi-author showcase scheduled for August 1st. I arranged the event and had a lot of preparation to accomplish—emails flying to and fro. It all worked out great, and you can see the pictures. Just click here.
Now, I have some breathing room, planning my next moves. I’ve got a few ideas.
I think my next big project will be a collection of some of my stories and poems. Of course, I’m mulling over ideas for a sequel to Resonance too, and possibly another children’s book.
Oh, remember the promised interview of my protagonists in Resonance, Max and Bea, after their big reunion tour with Helios? Well, from what I hear, they’ve been home a few months and are scheduled to do the interview along with David from Helios and his wife, Cathy, very soon. So, I’ll be posting that on The Write Drive in the near future.
Since fall is coming (It can’t get here fast enough. It’s been a Hades-like summer down here in the Richmond metro. I truly hope we get a fall this year. Last year didn’t work out so well.) I’m looking for more events to book. Check my website “Events” page for what I come up with.
I’m looking forward to the release of Anubis Press’s Handbook for the Dead. You’ll find my “Schmoozing with the Spirits” in it.
So, stay tuned. There’s always something in the works.
Happy Writing!
